The beginning

Scorpio started her life in October 1973 as Stardust of Ashton. She was build at the Camper & Nicholson yard in Gosport.

In August 1989 she was sold and brought to this side of the Channel, to Belgium.

The previous owner bought her in 2013 after she had been for sales for quite some time and re-named her Scorpio. He has carried out a lot of work to get her back into a good sailing condition.

Today

We fell in love with Scorpio during the summer of 2015 - dispite all her quirks - when Peter let us use his boat. When he offered it to us there was actually only one choice. We intend to use her for family cruising in Dutch waters, both inland and coastal, as well as participating in the occasional race.

In September 2016 we changed her name back to Stardust.
